Rapidly responding to the needs of our customers

We recently worked with Mills Mobility Aids to ensure they could complete an urgent hoist installation within 3 days of the initial enquiry being made.

Two overhead hoists were urgently needed in a home. These would reduce the number of carers and family members involved in the care of a gentlemen and therefore his potential exposure to Coronavirus. Until then, a portable hoist was being used which needed 2 carers. Now hoisting can be carried out with a single carer. 

Colin, our Overhead Hoist Category Sales Manager, received an enquiry from Greg Mills at Mills Mobility Aids, a key trade customer, on Wednesday to check stock for an urgent installation of 2 Molift Air 200 hoists. We have high levels of stock in our UK warehouse so were able to respond quickly. Greg placed the order the same day.

Emma in Customer Services immediately processed the order and arranged with our warehouse for the equipment (hoists, rails and components) to be collected on Thursday afternoon ready for the installation during Friday. 

The ease and efficiency of installing the Molift Rail System enabled Mills Mobility Aids to complete 2 rooms on Friday as scheduled.

Mills Mobility Aids are based in Hereford and install overhead hoists in surrounding counties.
