Immedia SatinSheet System reduces friction between the user and the bed. By reducing friction, two major challenges are addressed and decreased:
- The workload on the caregivers, that reduces work-related injuries.
- The shear forces on the patient, that reduces the risk of pressure sores.

Immedia SatinSheet 2Direction BaseSheet
Immedia SatinSheet 2D BaseSheet has a low-friction satin area in the centre of the sheet that allows movement from side-to-side thus facilitating turning in bed. The edges of the sheet are of cotton/polyester and will brake movement, allowing the user to sit on the edge of the bed without slipping.
Immedia SatinSheet 2D is available in 3 lengths Mini provides low friction under the hip section, Midi covers also the shoulder section and Maxi covers the entire length of the bed. On Midi and Maxi lengths there is a choice of 60 or 70 cm satin width.SatinSheet 2D Maxi is available in four alternatives• Maxi Flat sheet (240x200 or 200x200) is the standard and is tucked in as a normal bed sheet.• Maxi Corner sheet (90x200 cm) with elastic straps at the corners for fixing to the mattress• Maxi Fit sheet (90x200 cm) a fitted sheet with locking strings and the lower satin area coversthe entire width of the mattress to help with sliding the feet in and out of bed.• Maxi Double (280x200) a flat sheet for double bed with satin on one side.

BaseSheet 2Direction Corner
This sheet has elastic corner straps for fitting to the mattress. This is easy to fit for a single carer and works well with thicker mattresses is used.
BaseSheet 2Direction
A traditional sheet that can be tucked under the mattress. The user lies directly on the satin area which reduces friction betweenbedding and nightwear making moving and turning easier.
BaseSheet 2Direction Fit
This is a fitted sheet with drawstring.This sheet has a satin area that covers the full width of the bed under the lower half ofthe body. This allows a more independent user to slide their legs in and out of bed.
Base Sheet 2Direction Elastic Fit
This is a fitted sheet with elastic band. The BaseSheet is open in the corners to allow the tube from ex. the air mattress. This sheet has a satin area that covers the full width of the bed under the legs. This makes it easier to slide the users legs in and out of bed.

When the need is increased, the base satin sheet can be combined with alternative draw sheets, whether that be a 2-direction or a 4-direction solution.
Combining a SatinSheet 2D BaseSheet with a 2D DrawSheet facilitates lateral movement and turning in bed. The unique quality of the Satin sheet material reduces movement down in bed.

The Immedia SatinSheet pillow case in combination with a SatinSheet 2D it allows for movement in all directions. It has side wings that can be tucked in to lock the sheet in position as well as providing potential grip for the caregiver.
